Responsibilities:
- Develop High-Level Design Concepts
- Create Low-Level Design Specifications
- Perform Network Installation and Turn-Up
- Achieve Network Readiness
- Execute Traffic Migrations
- Network Topologies
- Hardware Installation Diagrams
- Cableplant Connectivity Matrix
- Maintenance Plans Preparation and Execution
- Network Operationalization Handover
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contributor in support of the TNS Dallas Data Center / POP Consolidation Project
- Collaborate with systems and application stakeholders to develop and execute traffic migrations strategies
- Solve highly complex network technical and tactical challenges
- Identify and resolve potential risks, issues, and impediments
- Design and deliver Ethernet-based connectivity
- Develop and deploy Network and Host IP address scheme(s)
- Create and implement ISIS and BGP routing design schemes
- Create and establish TNS POP Backbone interconnectivity
- Build downstream connectivity to application and storage systems
- Develop and execute old-to-new infrastructure traffic migration strategies
- Identify issues and recommend appropriate action/resolution
- Provide technical guidance to other project team members to ensure overall project success
Qualifications:
- Extensive MPLS design and support experience
- Extensive Data Center design and support experience
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking technologies; hardware components; and software functionality
- F5 Load Balancer design and support experience
- 10 years of design and operations experience in large scale multiprotocol Global IP Networks
- For this contract role, we anticipate paying $75 - $85 per hour. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
- Certified in applicable Cisco and Juniper technologies
- Certified in applicable Cisco and Juniper technologies
- B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Project Management Experience PERL programming and XML based management experience
- Traffic Generator Experience
- Hands-on experience with Service Provider class Juniper and Arista routers and switches
- UNIX / Linux Experience
