Position Summary:
The Human Resource Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating offers. This role collaborates with department managers to develop accurate job descriptions, implements effective hiring strategies, and ensures compliance with employment laws. The Recruiter also contributes to employer branding efforts and maintains accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Duties and Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Candidate Sourcing and Selection:
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process (phone screening calls, virtual interviews, and in-person meetings), attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback.

Offer and Onboarding Process:
- Collaborates with hiring managers and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details as needed.
- Assists with pre-employment processes including offer letter preparation and ordering/completing background checks.
- Supports new hire onboarding by coordinating onboarding documents, ensuring compliance with Transcend’s policies, and facilitating a smooth transition into the organization.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and Transcend policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare and distribute recruitment reports, tracking key performance metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.

Campus Recruiting and Outreach:
- Establishes and maintains relationships with universities, colleges, and trade schools to build a talent pipeline.
- Plans and participates in campus recruiting events, including job fairs, career panels, and networking sessions.
- Coordinates internship programs, including recruiting, onboarding, and program management.
- Collaborate with department leads to develop and promote early-career talent initiatives.

Employer Branding and Outreach:
- Promote the company’s employer brand through social media, career fairs, and networking events.
- Collaborate with Marketing and the CHRO to create recruitment campaigns and materials.

Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of roles (i.e., sales, operations, marketing, IT) is a plus.
- Certifications in Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
