Financial Planning Analyst

Compensation: $130-150,000 salary discretionary bonus

We are proud to announce an opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team! As the Financial Planning Analyst, you will collaborate with Advisors to help service and report on the performance of our portfolio models. You will be responsible for a mixture of back-office and client-facing responsibilities, including creating investment reports, monitoring and servicing client accounts, helping prepare presentations on portfolio performance, and presenting reports to clients in conjunction with our Advisors. Successful Financial Planning Analysts may grow into elevated responsibilities within portfolio management and client relationship management.

Interested in more details? As a Financial Planning Analyst, you can expect to:
- Provide ongoing planning and client relationship support to Advisors.
- Monitor, service, and create investment reports across each of our portfolio models.
- Participate in client meetings to support the Advisors, take meeting notes to ensure completeness and accuracy of client conversations, and execute financial planning tasks as directed by the Advisors.
- Help translate portfolio performance into common sense insights that will update and educate clients.
- Execute portfolio and client account adjustments as directed by the Advisor and management team.
- Ensure client satisfaction through exceptional service and relationship management.
- Implement all advisor recommendations and client requests while adhering to compliance requirements.
- Escalate account or investment problems and bring to the attention of the Advisors and firm management as needed.
- Stay current on trends in the investment management and financial planning space.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree required; majors in English, Math, or History preferred
- CFA (Level 3) or CFP designation required or partial completion of CFA (Level 1 or 2) with experience in wealth management
- 5 years in the wealth planning industry
- Stellar communication and relationship management skills
- Significant client facing experience
- Investment writing and research experience
- Strong computer skills are required: Microsoft Office, CRM, investment platform software, and experience creating visual investment reports
- Demonstrated job stability and career progression
