Were elated to share an opportunity for a new Paraplanner to join our growing team. As aParaplanner, you will serve as the right hand to one of our founding advisors in virtually everystep of the client service and planning process. This includes helping to onboard new clients,answering client questions, scheduling clients, ensuring completion and accuracy of forms andfiles, helping to prepare the advisor for new client meetings, taking notes during client planningreviews, entering data into our planning software, and tracking successful execution of everystep of the service and planning process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learndirectly beside an experienced advisor and a clear path for growth based on performance.
The ideal candidate is a natural team player with exceptional communication skills, a greatsense of time management, a refined attention to detail, the drive to complete tasksindependently, and a proactive, client-first attitude. While advanced knowledge of financialplanning topics is nice to have, basic knowledge and experience in the wealth managementspace is sufficient to start. - Prepare advisors for meetings with clients, create formal or informal meeting agendas, record notes of client meetings, review meeting summaries, assign and complete follow- up tasks, generate reports, and ensure ongoing accuracy of clients plans and data
- Provide concierge-level service to clients
- Place trades and perform money movements
- Provide ongoing support to the firms senior advisors
- Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner
- Input notes and updates into CRM and planning system
- Delegate tasks back to advisors or third parties as needed
- Manage prospective client pipeline for senior advisors
- Stay current on trends in the financial planning space
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial planning industry, with 2 year in a Paraplanner, Associate Advisor, or other planning support role
- Client facing experience
- Series 66, Series 65, or CFP required (any additional designations preferred)
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
- Life and health insurance licenses preferred or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hiring
- Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to be effective and productive while working independently
- Strong desire to learn and build a career
- Demonstrated job stability
