Position: Paraplanner

Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 (based on experience)

We are proud to announce an opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our team. As a Paraplanner, you will serve as the Senior Advisors right hand throughout the planning and service process. This includes preparing and reviewing documents, helping to onboard new clients, ensuring completion and accuracy of client forms, sitting in client meetings, taking careful notes of client conversations, entering data into financial planning software, and building and maintaining financial plans in partnership with the Senior Advisor.
As a Paraplanner, you will partner directly with the Senior Advisor throughout the planning process. - Provide concierge-level service to clients at all levels
- Prepare advisors for meetings with clients
- Sit in client meetings, keep careful notes of client conversations, and ensure follow-through on advisor and client requests
- Enter data into financial planning software and ensure accuracy
- Partner with Senior Advisors to create, monitor, and maintain actionable financial plans for clients
- Take detailed notes of all client conversations
- Place trades, rebalance accounts, and perform money movements
- Maintain a strong understanding of client needs and generate performance reports
- Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner
- Input notes and updates into CRM and planning system
- Delegate tasks back to advisors or third parties as needed
- Stay current on trends in the financial planning space
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial planning industry, with at least 2 years in a Paraplanner, Associate Advisor, or other planning support role
- Client facing experience
- Series 7, Series 66, Series 65, or CFP required (any additional designations preferred)
- CFP or AIF a plus
- Bachelors degree required
- Outstanding attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to be effective and productive while working independently
- Strong desire to learn and build a career
- Demonstrated job stability
