About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to drive test automation and ensure software quality. You will lead a team, collaborate with developers, and implement BDD, Selenium, and Java-based automation strategies in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a QA team, promoting best testing practices.
- Develop, execute, and maintain Selenium automation scripts in Java.
- Implement BDD methodologies using tools like Cucumber.
- Define test strategies, create test cases, and perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Selenium, Java, and BDD (Cucumber or similar).
- Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in API testing and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years in QA, with 2 years in a leadership role.
