The role of the Service Foreman is to exercise direct supervision of Service Technicians to specifically enhance the efficiencies of the department. Ensuring that the daily inventory of available technician time is consistently sold to service customers.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Creating accurate estimates in Decisiv for Service Advisors to share with customers.
- Utilize Procede to ensure technician timeclock information is accurate.
- Organize and dispatch repairs to maximize work efficiency and quality of work performed.
- Implements strategies that optimize workflow and operational efficiency to meet desired throughput goals.
- Check and review work in process and follow-up for completion throughout shift to ensure status is updated in Decisiv.
- Work with the Service Manager to drive technician productivity and efficiency on a daily basis by ensuring technicians are following proper troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborates with warranty administration team to ensure technicians are following warranty best practices that will ensure optimized recovery goals.
- Inspect and validate completed repairs throughout shift to ensure high quality of workmanship is being met.
- Manages repair comeback logs to ensure quality of work standards are met.
- Maintain Safety Protocol and Shop Cleanliness Standards.
- Ensure accurate RO documentation in Procede for each repair completed prior to RO completion for Service Advisor. Accounts for all repair order documents and information; ensures that none are missing at completion of repair.
- Collaborate with Lead Technician to determine assistance needed on more complicated repairs or need for advanced diagnostics.
- Ensure proper communication between first and second shift.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a related field
- Proven service background and knowledge of warranties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good leadership abilities
- Positive can-do attitude
- CDL preferred
- Certifications in Cummins and Detroit Diesel preferred
- Compensation: $35-40/hr. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications and education.
