Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles, adhering to strict maintenance schedules and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the assigned vehicle and surrounding areas.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers, providing timely updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Foster a culture of safety within the team, promoting best practices and reporting any incidents or near-misses.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid CDL driver's license and have at least one year of experience in operating heavy equipment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and capacity to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
