Provider Relations – Vendor Advocate (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
As a Provider Relations – Vendor Advocate at Transcom Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, maintaining, and nurturing relationships with our language and transportation vendors. Your daily interactions with vendors and their teams will ensure seamless operations and clear communication, while also negotiating to secure services for our valued workers’ compensation clients. You'll be instrumental in performing data analysis to drive key metrics, aiming for continuous improvement and optimal performance.
Essential Functions:
Vendor Onboarding:
· Ensure vendors are accurately onboarded to Transcom standards.
· Organize and file all relevant onboarding documents systematically.
· Conduct ongoing audits to ensure the accuracy of vendor data entry by staff.
Vendor Relationship Management:
· Manage and maintain vendor relationships, acting as a critical interface between vendors and business staff.
· Implement negotiations with vendors regarding service provision for workers’ compensation clients.
· Provide performance feedback to vendors, highlighting the impact on our clients.
Contract Management and Strategic Development:
- Manage strategic positioning for vendor contracts.
- Develop network areas and identify opportunities for greater value orientation and risk arrangements.
- Support and provide direction for the development of network analytics required for the network solution.
Issue Resolution:
- Research and negotiate with internal partners and external vendors to resolve highly complex and/or escalated issues.
- Assist in resolving elevated and complex vendor service complaints.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Accurately document all inquiries and enter all information and outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform data analysis to identify, evaluate, and drive key metrics.
- Manage initiatives to improve profit margins, coverage areas, and quality.
Project Participation:
- Participate in internal or external projects as required.
- Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in a diverse and team environment.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Prior provider relations, contract specialists or logistics experience preferred.
· Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
· Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
· Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflows and priorities.
- Must be professional and comfortable making decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and members to achieve goals.
- High critical thinker with a strong work ethic.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Multitasking skills and the detail-oriented focus required for a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the healthcare or workers’ compensations industry is a plus.
· High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Understanding of HIPAA protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
· Commitment to continuous improvement and performance excellence.
· Proficient in basic PC operations, including Windows OS, internet, and mainstream web browsers.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
