Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales is a key executive responsible for driving revenue growth and market share within the Workers’ Compensation Transportation and Language Services industry. This role involves developing and executing innovative sales strategies, leading a high-performing sales team, and fostering strong client relationships. By collaborating across departments and analyzing industry trends, the Vice President of Sales will ensure the company’s offerings consistently exceed client expectations and set new standards in the industry.
Essential Functions:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion.
- Identify potential target markets, segments, and business opportunities within the workers' compensation transportation and translations sector.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Evaluate the value of attending conferences and other events through cost-benefit analysis to ensure effective use of resources.
Account Management Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Account Management team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, assisting them in closing deals and managing client relationships effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and skill development.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance adjusters, case managers, employers, and legal professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their specific challenges in workers’ compensation cases and providing tailored solutions.
- Oversee client onboarding and retention strategies to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Revenue Growth and Business Development:
- Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand Transcom Solutions' client base and market reach.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services, generate leads, and build the company’s reputation.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns, sales collateral, and lead generation strategies.
Sales Operations and Analytics:
- Monitor sales performance metrics such as revenue growth, pipeline health, and conversion rates, leveraging data to refine strategies.
- Provide detailed, data-driven reports on sales results, forecasts, and market analysis to the executive team.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems to track client relationships and optimize sales processes.
Sales Reporting:
- Report sales results and performance directly to the executive team, ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting of progress, challenges, and proactive strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports on account status and performance. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within designated territories.
- Utilize data-driven insights to adjust strategies, forecast future sales, and make informed decisions.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional materials, campaigns, and sales collateral.
Sales Process Enhancement:
- Continuously improve the sales process by identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices.
- Provide input on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and sales terms to optimize revenue generation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in B2B sales/sales management must be within the workers' compensation industry. Transportation and Language Services are a strong plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire Account Management teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
