TransCore – Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Summary Performs the physical and / or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Performs duties and tasks with little or no supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives incoming goods and products into stock, including boxing, labeling, storing, etc.
- Counts inventory and performs cycle counts as required.
- Pulls material for work orders and for use by manufacturing and other departments.
- Audit work orders and count material returned from Production for accuracy.
- Performs inventory, work order, sales orders, and other transactions in ERP system.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Operates sit down and stand-up forklifts.
- Prepares / ships packages for domestic, foreign, domestic, and hazardous material shipments as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of material storage areas and workspaces.
- Timely review and respond to emails.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations related to material handling activities.
- Makes local pick-ups and deliveries as required / assigned.

Physical Demands / Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and moving traffic. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.
