Operating out of the Foothill Transit Facility in Arcadia, CA, our Bus Operators safely and efficiently transport the local community to work, school, shopping, medical appointments, personal trips, and other destinations in the San Gabriel Valley area.
What we offer:
- $23.00/hr to start
- $40.00/hr Top Pay (after 4 years)
- Paid CDL training!!
- Medical/Dental/Vision health benefits - Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kaiser*
- Company pays 85% of the premium, employee pays only 15%!
- January 1, 2025 90%/10% split.
- 401(K) retirement plan*
- Company contributes $2 for all hours worked
- Increases to $3 for all hours worked in 2026

What you'll be doing:
- Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers
Who you are:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- A valid drivers’ license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit.
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions
- Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance
- Move up and down stairs easily
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
