Part-Time Bus Washer / Fueler
Transdev in Williamsburg, VA is hiring two Part-time Bus Washers/Fuelers. The Bus Washer/Fueler is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. The part time schedule is Monday – Friday 5:00pm-10:00pm.
Transdev is proud to offer:
- Competitive compensation range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel all vehicles
- Check and add fluids to vehicles as needed
- Clean the interiors and wash exteriors of vehicles
- Prepare and complete applicable paperwork
- Complete other maintenance tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- CDL B preferred but not required
- Subject to FTA / DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
- The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
- Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
