Transdev in Modesto, CA is hiring Utility Cleaners. The Utility Cleaner is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

- $19.00 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)

Key Responsibilities:
- Washes interior of vehicles using power washer and brushes, sweeps, mops and removes trash from vehicles.
- Report any safety or physical damage issues to Supervisor.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and Holidays.
- Cleans/Details interior of cars & buses, windows, stanchions, sweeping, mopping, graffiti and drivers’ front area on bus.
- Performs light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
- Reports any maintenance issues to Supervisor.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions.
- Ability to read, comprehend and abide by Material Safety Data Sheets and all other safety training materials provided.
- Ability to learn shop processes including cleaning vehicles.
- Ability to mix and use a variety of cleaning products.
- Ability to use a variety of equipment such as buffers, scrubbing machines and other heavy cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to details.
- Knowledge of shop safety standards.
- Must be well organized.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision.
- Must be able to work flexible hours or shifts.
- Ability to work as a team.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check.
