Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse in Whitestown, IN.Compensation The annual salary range is $85,000-$95,000 per year which includes :
- Hourly wage of $28.00 per hour
- 5,000 sign-on bonus paid $1,250 per quarter
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
- Typical work week is 48-55 hours per week

- 4-6 day work weeks
- Weekends and some Holidays included.
- Work week starts Sunday night. Off every Saturday night and one other night during the week
- Start times vary, typically 7pm-10pm; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day
- No layovers, home every day
- Make 3-7 stops per day Responsibilities
- Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart
- Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to Chipotle restaurants
- Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'- 42' pup trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
- Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
- Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
- Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements
- New CDL graduates encourage to apply! No CDL experience necessary
- Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred
- Local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License from state of Indiana
- Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
