Compensation :
Hourly pay $26.53 - $32.21 / hour, based on experience
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months
Weekly paychecks

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday
Typically work 4 : 30am-1 : 00pm, work until work is completed
Home every day, no overnights
Make local 6-8 stops per day, typically in Northern Virginia to Southern North Carolina
Orientation / Safety Training in Southington, CT; approximately 3 days, all expenses paid
Must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities
Drive CDL A flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
Requires climbing up and / or down the back and side of truck to unstrap and re-strap and re-tarp at each delivery
Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
Provide excellent customer service
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Minimum of 6 months flatbed delivery and load securement experience required
Experience securing pallets and loose steel products using straps and tarps on flatbed trailers with bows and side panels
Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds without assistance
Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology
Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
