Local Truck Driver CDL B Flatbed Delivery

Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Flatbed Delivery in the North Canton, OH location.
Compensation :
Hourly wage of $22.50 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience.
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
Typically work 40-50 hours per week.
Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months.
Weekly paychecks.

Work Schedule :
Monday-Friday.
Work schedule typically 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm or until work is completed. Usually 8-10 hours per day.
Home every day.
Orientation / Safety Training in Southington, CT; approximately 3 days, all expenses paid.
Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs.
Responsibilities :
Route delivery, driver assist unload and forklift.
Drive CDL B flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
Secure pallets using straps and tarps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance.
Provide excellent customer service.
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailers.
Requirements :
Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, with air brakes endorsement.
Minimum of 6 months of CDL B delivery driving experience preferred.
No experience with flatbed and / or forklift required; will train the right individual.
Ability to operate an automatic and manual transmission.
Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology.
Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
