Company has been in business since 1982 providing fresh produce and other products to restaurants and other end users. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL B Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse in Bartlett, IL.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 per year which includes :
Hourly wage of $26.75 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Typical work week is 50-55 hours per week

Work Schedule
5-day work week : Monday-Saturday, off Sunday and one other day per week
Start times typically between 3 : 30am-4 : 00am; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day
No layovers, home every day
Make 10-15 stops per day; 150-200 mile radius of Bartlett IL
Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs
Responsibilities
Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart
Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end users
Drive CDL B straight truck to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries
Provide excellent customer service
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
Reporting maintenance / repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
Minimum 6-months CDL B straight truck route delivery experience required.
Prior l ocal, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack preferred, preferably foodservice.
Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License from state of Illinois.
Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train.
Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
