Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-time
Supervisor Title: Vice President of Marketing
Work Location: Hybrid in New York and local to company headquarters, with a schedule that includes working at the company headquarters regularly, and the ability to travel to headquarters as needed to fulfill responsibilities and duties.
Position Purpose: The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the company's online presence and engagement. This position is responsible for creating and managing compelling content, optimizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, and leveraging social media to enhance brand visibility and achieve marketing objectives.
By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Digital Marketing Specialist ensures cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Design: Develops content tailored to meet the needs and preferences of a specific target audience. Utilizes skills in graphic design, video editing, and multimedia content creation to produce visually appealing and engaging materials.
- Content Strategy and Management: Formulates comprehensive content strategies that align with the brand and company guidelines. Establishes and manages a robust content calendar to plan, organize, and maintain a consistent daily content creation and publication schedule. Collaborates with the marketing team to devise and execute effective strategies that drive growth and achieve marketing objectives.
- SEO and Analytics: Facilitates and enhances SEO efforts by developing content optimized for search engines. Enhances customer reach by implementing SEO campaigns that optimize content and improve search engine visibility. Collects and evaluates consumer behavior data related to social media and web traffic. Maintains tracking systems for online marketing activities to measure and analyze key metrics.
- Social Media Management: Manages and maintains social media properties for multiple companies and solutions. Supports social media efforts by creating campaigns and actively working to expand and cultivate audiences.
- Email Marketing and Paid Advertising: Creates and manages email marketing campaigns to engage with customers and drive conversions. Manages paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media to increase brand visibility and drive traffic.
- Customer Engagement: Engages with customers through various digital channels, responding to inquiries and feedback to foster positive relationships.
- Research and Trend Analysis: Conducts thorough research to identify emerging trends. Proactively engages with the audience to cultivate a positive brand image and increase brand awareness.
- Administration: Monitors and evaluates the progress of ongoing marketing campaigns. reviews KPI’s and works with the VP of of marketing on planning and execution for improvement. Collaborates with the marketing team on trade shows and events. Other duties and projects as assigned.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. A combination of relevant education, training, certifications, and/or work experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of SEO writing principles and practical experience in executing effective SEO and SEM campaigns.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough research and produce high-quality written content that is both compelling and articulate.
- Skilled in design and graphics, including motion design, with the ability to use Adobe Suite and or Canva to create engaging multimedia content.

Annual Salary Range: $61,000.00-$70,000.00.
Compensation: Salary is established based on various factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history, job-related knowledge, education and training, skills, and geographic location.
