Job Overview
This is a full-time Yard Switcher position located in Lincoln, AL. As a dedicated yard switcher, you will be responsible for moving 60-80 trailers per shift within the yard using a yard truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Trailer Movement: Move 60-80 trailers per shift within the yard using a yard truck
- No-Touch Freight: No loading or unloading required
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard equipment and maintain compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
- License: CDL A preferred, but non-CDL drivers may qualify if they pass a road test
- Experience: Previous yard switcher experience preferred but not required
- Equipment: Ability to operate yard trucks with automatic transmissions
- Availability: Willingness to work Monday - Friday with Saturday shifts as needed
