Dedicated Local Route Driver Position
TransForce Inc. is hiring a dedicated local route driver for our operations in Ladson, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering container and dry van cargo to our clients in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Freight Handling: Safely load and unload container and dry van deliveries at designated locations.
- Route Management: Operate within local routes while ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow DOT regulations and client-specific safety guidelines to maintain a clean and accident-free record.
- Equipment Use: Safely operate manual transmission trucks for container and dry van work.
Requirements
- CDL License: Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
- Endorsements: TWIC card required; Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Experience: Previous container/port experience required.
- Equipment Use: Ability to operate manual transmission trucks.
- Clean Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report.
