About the Role
As a Tanker Truck Driver for TransForce Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering fuel to our customers across Maine. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, safety awareness, and excellent communication skills.
The typical day will involve:
- Loading and unloading cargo from compartmentalized tankers
- Navigating through urban and rural areas, adhering to all traffic regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including fuel quantities and receipt signatures
- Collaborating with dispatchers to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery
To succeed in this role, you'll need a valid CDL A license, tanker endorsement, and hazmat certification. Experience with hauling liquids, manual transmission operation, and TWIC card possession are also essential.
