Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A or B truck driver to join our team. As a local delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various stores and businesses in the Salisbury, MD area.
Schedule and Pay
- The position requires working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday coverage as needed.
- The pay rate is a mix of daily rate and commission, with CDL A drivers earning $162.83 per day and receiving $0.35 per full case or $0.17 per half case delivered.
- CDL B drivers earn $159.82 per day and receive $0.55 per case delivered.
- The estimated weekly pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,500 depending on the number of cases delivered.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate straight trucks and use handcarts to unload and deliver products.
- At some stops, you will simply drop off the product in designated areas, while at others, you may need to stock and rotate merchandise.
- This is a 1st shift position with a 7:00 am start time, and you will work until the route is complete.
- This location is non-union.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2 years of CDL experience.
- Clean MVR and stable work history.
