The Airside Experience Specialist is responsible for various duties contributing to safely providing services for general aviation aircraft, crew, and guests. This specialist operates ground service equipment and applies knowledge of company policies and procedures to deliver efficient and exceptional service to private aviation terminal guests. Flexibility in scheduling, including night, holiday, and weekend shifts, is essential. Work may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise, near stationary and moving aircraft.

Responsibilities:
As a team member, the Airside Experience Specialist conducts airside operations safely and efficiently, adhering to established policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate communication through various methods to accomplish operational tasks.
- Collaborate with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs, which include fueling, de-icing, lavatory, ground power, potable water services, parking, marshalling, wing walking, delivering catering, and towing.
- Proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify open job tasks, and immediately report safety concerns to stakeholders.
- Operate and drive ground service equipment, such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks, etc.
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and from/into the private aviation terminal, guest vehicles, or other modes of transportation.
- Provide professional and friendly guest service while maintaining a positive attitude, ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience.
- Offer safe, convenient, and courteous transportation when driving shuttle vehicles to transport guests, luggage, and cargo.
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations.
- Fuel handling, including fuel quality control, receipt, inventory, and accurate documentation.
- Comply with and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service requirements for the job.
- Stop work when an unsafe condition or act may cause harm and report concerns to management.
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
- Understand and comply with security protocols dictated by Signature Aviation and the airport.
- Create accurate records of time worked and activities performed.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- At least 18 years old.
- Pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements, and be insurable by the Company's applicable insurance policies.
- Licensed to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
- Excellent vision and coordination for inspecting aircraft fuel and moving/directing aircraft.
- Valid state driver's license; commercial driver's license (CDL) required in some locations.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow supervisor/management directions.
- Preferred: Three to six months of experience in aviation, customer service, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hospitality Skills: Excellent guest service skills with an energetic, outgoing personality; able to anticipate guest needs and prioritize requests.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Physical Ability: Must enter/exiting and operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Critical Thinking / Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out multi-step instructions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate and provide excellent service to guests.
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
