Transformation House is hiring a Recovery Tech for our women’s residential program in Fridley, MN. This role is an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, providing essential support to clinical and nursing staff while maintaining a safe and structured environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client activities and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Document and track client whereabouts at all times.
- Assist clients with sign-in/sign-out for approved passes.
- Conduct facility rounds every two hours (every hour during visitation).
- Oversee client admissions and discharges, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Safeguard and log client personal belongings held in temporary custody.
- Conduct urine drug screenings and breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records in the electronic MAR system.
- Report and document client health concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain electronic records, including client notes, observations, incidents, and third-party communications.
- Support facility cleanliness and organization, including client chore oversight.
- Provide transportation for clients when necessary.
- Prepare client meals as needed.
- Apply de-escalation techniques when required.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and complete assigned training.
