About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee complex IT projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale IT initiatives, delivering results on time and within budget, and fostering effective collaboration across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects, including network upgrades, server implementations, software rollouts, and PC deployments.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and impact analyses to define project requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and change control processes.
- Track project progress, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align objectives and achieve goals.
- Provide training and support to team members as needed to ensure project success.
- Create comprehensive project documentation and deliverables, including testing, training materials, and performance reports.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in IT environments.
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong technical skills related to IT systems, networking, and software deployment.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess IT system issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience managing IT projects within government or enterprise organizations.
