Job Summary:
The Breaking the Cycle Recovery (BCR) House Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and management of the BCR houses. The BCR housing Supervisor operates the housing programs in compliance with regulatory standards and contract requirements. At all times, the BCR Recovery House Supervisor ensures that services are delivered in accordance with agency procedures, contract requirements and with the highest possible clinical and ethical standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with Transformations Wellness Center policies and procedures and the BCR house Policies and procedures.
· Oversee the day-to-day operations at the BCR houses including:
o Manage staff including hiring, onboarding, training and other supervisor duties.
o Develop schedules to ensure balanced coverage.
o Scheduling weekly staff meetings
o Filling in for absences when needed
o Assigns and ensures tasks are completed.
· Monitors activities, services, and staff of the Breaking the Cycle Recovery Houses and ensures all house policies, procedures, and practices are in place and observed to re-enforce the house mission and goals.
· Ensures house Mission, Vision, and Operations are consistent with the applicable laws, statutes, grants, and or other requirements.
· Monitors house to ensure tenant safety, self-accountability, and provide guidance/teach the peer-led social model to the tenants.
· Encourages the tenants to take ownership of their recovery.
· Facilitate scheduled classes and activities.
· Facilitate house meetings/guided group discussion
· Recovery Capital Measurement
· Random testing and monitoring including:
o Perform Urine Drug Screen
o Perform Breathalyzer Test
o Perform medication pill or strip counts
o Perform random periodic random room searches
· Manage internal and external grievances
· Facilitates waiting list
· Administers pre-admission interviews, and screens resident applications for housing appropriateness.
· Performs resident admission protocol.
· Works with staff and residents to ensure the house and property are maintained in optimal condition.
· Oversee the resident fee agreement and financial accounting system.
· Develop community relations and partnerships with referral sources and other community partners, to ensure smooth and successful transitions into services.
· May act as liaison or assign the liaison role to peer housing assistants (PA) with the following state agencies and local partners: Health Department, Child Protection Services, Community Based Services, Department of Corrections, Courts system, Deflection program, Wellness Court, Re-Entry Services, Workforce Development, Homeless Taskforce, Affordable / Fair Housing Advocates, Peer-Run Recovery Support Groups, Local Recovery Advocacy Groups, and the Faith Community.
· Ensures compliance with all local housing compliance entities and their inspections.
· Responsible for compliance with partnered referral source standards and, if applicable, that agencies/entities inspections and corresponding documentation.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Lived experience of substance use disorders with verifiable program of recovery is required
- Must hold a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification from MHACBO.
- Experience developing and overseeing programs
- Experience supervising staff
- Skills for working with individuals in recovery
- Experience maintaining clear boundaries and ability to hold others accountable with compassion.
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Demonstrated success at working effectively in a diverse, collaborative, team environment, with skills in promoting inclusion and cultural responsiveness
- Experience in collaborating with community partners to identify shortcomings in the organization and in building partnerships to improve outcomes
- Excellent communication, trauma informed approach and strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to always maintain high professional standards with participants, staff, and community partners
- Knowledge of harm reduction principles
- Self-manager/self-motivated
- Must be able to work independently, effective interpersonal, oral and written skills and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Basic computer and keyboard proficiency using Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member as well as independently
- Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork
- Pass a criminal history background check administered by the OHA background check unit (BCU)
- Applicants must not be listed on the Medicaid provider exclusion list
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Repetitive use of hands such as grasping, twisting/turning of wrists, and finger dexterity necessary to perform various clerical duties such as typing, writing and maintaining files.
- Frequent use of arms such as pushing/pulling to open and close drawers and cabinets.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at assigned station.
- Ability to bend and/or reach, and to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (boxes of copy paper and/or files for storage).
- Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less for normal processing of work

WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT
–The duties of the job require:
- Regular attendance of 5 days per week for a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Ability to work swing and graveyard shifts as assigned
- Traveling to other locations as necessary to complete operational functions
