Main Area Junior Clinical Fellow - Neurosurgery & Spinal Surgery
About the Role
The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country, providing a wide range of general and specialist clinical services.
The successful junior doctor rotation in the surgical specialties at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting again for August 2025.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotating through different neurosurgical and spinal subspecialties
- Covering orthopaedic spinal surgery firm including theatre time and assisting with operations
- Admitting elective and emergency patients, arranging pre-operative investigations and ensuring high-quality post-operative care
Person Specification
- Full GMC registration with licence to practice
- ALS/ ATLS training
- Completed pre-registration year or equivalent outside UK
- Experience in initial assessment and care of acutely ill patient
- Achievement of Foundation Programme 1 competencies
