POSITION SUMMARY: This position will complete the Bilingual Clinical Provider functions needed for the organization and mission to succeed. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational skills, great leadership qualities. This is a designated, non-exempt position and reports to the Executive Director(s). Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client-Centered Work
- Effectively maintain and manage a caseload as designated by your direct supervisor, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Provide flexible scheduling options and utilize a community-based approach to ensure accessibility and convenience for clients, adapting to their needs and preferences.
- Communicate with youth regarding all upcoming appointments (frequent reminders, etc.).
- Accurately maintain client records and treatment plans in designated databases, ensuring compliance with all documentation standards.
- Ability to identify support agencies available in the community.
Professional Development and Growth
- Strong ability to receive constructive feedback and demonstrate the capacity for self-reflection and improvement.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional development.

Grant and Program Support
- Must understand our grant goals and priorities to provide accurate feedback and reporting, aligning with the bigger picture of organizational needs and demonstrating success to grantors.
- Possess a working understanding of federal, state, and sponsor regulations, guidelines, and policies, with the ability to navigate and adapt them to meet the unique needs of each program and community.
- Able to compile necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other staff, project management tools, and other resources.
Administrative Duties
- Manage timelines and deliverables.
- All other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Licensure:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field; Must be licensed LCSW or LPC.
Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in mental health counseling and services.
- In-depth experience in assessing, treating, and managing clients presenting with suicidality or self-harm behaviors, including developing safety plans and coordinating appropriate interventions.
- Experience providing effective therapy and support for children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a wide range of behavioral and emotional issues while integrating culturally responsive and decolonial approaches to ensure equitable, client-centered care.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in special education is highly preferred.
- Experience with nonprofits is preferred.
Language Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Language proficiency assessment will be required
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently document clinical encounters using the SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) format.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and general computer software usage.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have knowledge of trauma, trauma response, and trauma-informed care.
- Must be able to define a community-based approach.
- Must be able to define the School-to-Prison Pipeline.
- Analytical and reasoning skills with decision-making abilities are required.
- Must demonstrate leadership and management skills.
- Possesses high levels of organization and prioritization.
- Must possess creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with self-sufficiency.
- Must demonstrate flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

- Must have well-developed interpersonal skills—tactful, mature, and able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse individuals and groups in a multicultural environment.
- Must be proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

- Reliable transportation is required.

Physical Requirements:
- Frequently sit, stand, and walk.
- Occasionally bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, kneel, push/pull, carry up to fifty (50) pounds with assistance and lift up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Driving required must be able to drive up to four hours a day.
