About the Position and Our Team
The Data Engineering Intern will join the Internship Program for 12 weeks over the summer of 2025 in our Independence, Ohio location. During this time, interns will receive orientation and training, work on our real client projects, and are expected to take the internship as a serious opportunity for growth and development. As an intern, you are part of the TransImpact team and will be working side by side with our experienced consultants to create value for our clients. Interns will also attend summer outings like an outing at Top Golf, or volunteering at the Cleveland Foodbank or Metroparks, to show our interns what a fun summer in Cleveland looks like!
Location
This internship is In-Office at our Independence, Ohio, location. You must be able to attend from May 19, 2025, through August 8, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Listen, Learn, and Grow - Listen to what our clients' needs are, learn how our technologies enable their business, grow in your technical and professional skills
- Take ownership of and create high-quality deliverables
- Leverage skills in data warehousing concepts, database development, and related Microsoft BI technologies
- Utilize our data management tools to integrate data from disparate systems with our supply chain products
- Design and implement dashboards, web-based reports, and excel pivot tables for advanced business analytics
- Hit project deadlines to ensure they stay on time and budget
- Post-implementation follow-up to ensure full understanding and utilization of delivered BI solutions
- Be a team player; be open, be ready, be flexible
