The primary responsibility of the Information Technology Coordinator is to maintain and support existing technology systems. This role will interact with technology found in a typical office environment, as well as transit-specific technologies (hardware and software). Under the guidance of the IT Manager, this role assists in both daily technical support and long-term technology projects to ensure efficient and effective technology operations across all departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

- Assist in the maintenance and support of existing technology systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability, including maintenance and support of on-board technologies including Harris Radios, CAD/AVL system, camera system, and fare collection devices.
- Create and manage user, computer accounts, Office 365 accounts, and security groups in an Active Directory environment.
- Monitor and maintain the internal computer network, troubleshooting and repairing systems, hardware, peripherals, and software issues.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of technology assets, manage asset documentation, and maintain an inventory of technology assets.
- Assist in managing physical, virtual, and cloud-based server environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues promptly for end users.
- Supports Lextran projects as needed by providing technology expertise.
- Assists in preparing short-term and long-term technology plans and/or reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, products, and services in information technology
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a complex technical environment

- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Products
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must follow established procurement policy
- Ability to work as a team member or alone on solo projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Two (2) years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, or a related field.
- Experience with repairing electronics.
- Technology-related certifications are preferred.
