JOB SUMMARY
$1,000.00 hiring bonus ($500.00 upon successful completion of training and $500.00 after the probationary period)
The primary responsibility of the Utility Worker is to clean and sanitize Lextran equipment and facilities. Candidates must be able to perform general maintenance at Lextran facilities while maintaining a professional image for the customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Janitorial duties sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, etc.
- Sanitizing equipment and facilities
- Moves filing cabinets, furniture and other items
Qualifications
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
- Bus detailing and service island fleet cleaning
- Understands all aspects of the company and keeps abreast of all changing policies and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- One year experience in janitorial duties
- High School diploma/ equivalent or combination of education and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Will be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or climb
- Frequently lifts objects weighing 5-50 lbs.
Frequently uses hands/fingers to perform cleaning duties and use of other tools/supplies to successfully perform essential job related tasks on a daily basis
