Job Description

Transit Tea is looking for a team member to join our team to provide excellent customer service, prepare drinks & food, and maintain a clean and organized tea bar to offer an elevated customer experience. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the desire to provide customers with the best experience possible.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers by greeting them quickly with a positive and welcoming attitude Patiently educate customers on beverage and food menu, answer questions and assist customers in selecting products
• Ability to prepare and sell various beverage and food items by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
• Maintain inventory by replenishing supplies while on shift
• Keep equipment clean and operable by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all Transit Tea organizational standards, policies, procedures, safety standards, and other directives
• Consistently promote Transit Teas culture, vision and direction of Transit Tea to other employees
• Demonstrate a “customer comes first” attitude
• Support change within the store as appropriately made by store manager or other Transit Tea leadership and have a positive attitude regarding such changes
• Comply with expectations regarding dress code, punctuality, attendance, and excellent customer service
• Accept and give constructive criticism and welcome opportunities for growth and development
• Understand and implement all store cash handling procedures
• Demonstrate flexibility to work varied hours of operation; work during high capacity business hours with confidence and a calm exterior
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, store manager, and other Transit Tea leadership
• Perform all other duties assigned by lead, store manager, or other Transit Tea leadership

Physical Requirements

Must be able to maintain substantial amounts of time on feet, maintain physical endurance through entire scheduled shifts, lift and carry various store supplies and equipment, and be flexible to work varying hours of operation.

Pay: From $14.75 per hour
