SHORT BIO: Transit Valley Country Club is a premier family-oriented, private member-owned, facility located in East, Amherst, NY. The Club was established in August 1921. Transit Valley’s clubhouse offers multiple picturesque dining options that provide fantastic panoramic views of the golf course and features meeting and banquet facilities. Additional amenities include a recreational zone with tennis courts, four pickle ball courts, basketball, junior-size Olympic pool, kids’ club, men’s and women’s locker rooms, golf simulator lounge, and a halfway house. The golf practice facility includes twenty hitting stations and five target areas along with a short game practice area.

Job Type: Part-time (24-36 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: $20 - $23

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.

Job Description:

As a Club Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Clubhouse and surrounding areas remain clean, presentable, and inviting. The duties include cleaning, maintaining, and organizing various areas within the Clubhouse other buildings, as well as performing some laundry duties. This is a key position in providing the membership and team members with a pleasant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the Clubhouse, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash cans and ensure garbage is disposed of properly.
• Wash, fold, and organize pool towels, locker room towels and golf towels for Club use.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, such as patios and/or poolside locker rooms, when required.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are properly stocked and organized.
• Communicate to appropriate supervisor about supply needs and ordering.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
• Duties, responsibilities, and reporting structure may change as business dictates.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, hospitality or service environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs.).
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule:

• 24 - 36 hours per week, with some weekend, evening and holidays shifts as needed.
• Early morning shifts

Compensation:

• Hourly wage of $20-$23, based on experience.
