Supported Employment Job Coach

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced job coach to support a motivated 26-year-old man with autism as he works toward employment aligned with his desired career path. The ideal candidate will have experience with resume building, interview preparation, job search strategies, and overall career development.

Hours/pay:

Hours: Flexible hours based on client needs

Days: Anytime Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Morning availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

$20-$32/hr based on experience

Experienced staff will:

• Be responsible for supervision, safety, and welfare of the individual at all times.
• Be responsible for establishing and maintaining productive daily activities.
• Provide skills training, assistance and/or supervision to the individual in the areas of community, social integration, and independence.
• Promotes social interactions in the community.
• Serve as a role model for appropriate social skills.
• Demonstrate recognition of and properly report suspected abuse and neglect.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with those who have autism
• Has to currently be a job coach.
• Currently have or be willing to obtain ACRE certification
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be patient and able to follow a routine and communicate instructions
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to obtain clearances
• Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
