What you will do in this role :     When you are a patient finances should be the last thing on your mind.  You will work closely with facility and regional accounts receivables team.  The AR projects will include backend collections and billing for Public Aide Medicaid and managed care accounts for our skilled nursing facility.  One moment you are managing the patient trust fund the next youre setting up payment schedules for a family and the next you could be helping a patient apply for Medicaid.  Its a busy day here!

  • Officially we title this job a BOM or Business Office Manager but in other centers it may be called a Medicaid Biller or Accounts Receivable Coordinator or even a Financial Services Rep.
  • This is NOT a remote position.  Because we need you to regularly interface with residents and staff 100% of your time will be working from / at the center.

  • Qualifications :

    Business Office Manager (BOM) :  is sometimes called an Accounts Receivable (AR) or Billing Specialist or Bookkeeper in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

    The orientation and support for this role will be provided to you by others located in different centers.  You will be working very independently.

    What we need from you :

  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of Business Office Manager (BOM) experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with a specific focus on collections and outstanding receivables
  • Must have prior experience with Illinois Medicaid / MMAI / Managed Care billing and collections  (please specify this detailed experience on resume / application for consideration).
  • Point Click Care (PCC) experience is helpful

    This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT.  We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Longterm Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs) Shortterm Care Rehabilitation Intermediate Care (ICFs) and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
