What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infection Control Prevention ICP Nurse RN position at Transitional Care Management?
What you will do in this role :
- You will work closely with our DON to develop & implement the infection control program (ICP) in accordance with current IDPH regulations for our setting.
- You will ensure compliance with current CDC OSHA and local regulations to provide staff education and training as needed.
- You will need to perform Infection (ICP) Surveillance; tracking & trending and developing action plans accordingly.
- You will lead the weekly Infection Control QAPI meetings and routinely monitor antibiotics usage & physician prescribing practices.
- Its a big job in a busy center!
