What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Transitions 1-2-3, Inc.?
This onsite HR Manager will be a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager and other plant leadership in driving plant performance through employee engagement. This role has primary accountability for the overall success, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Human Resources function at the facility. The role will support key stakeholders within the plant and wider HR function to improve organizational capability, drive change, define organizational needs, and resolve employee issues.
Primary responsibilities include :
- Manage and nurture a positive working relationship with the site’s union by fostering open communication, addressing concerns proactively, and ensuring compliance with the collective bargaining agreement to support a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide coaching and mutual problem solving to managers and employees to ensure a productive work environment, remaining consistent with company values and policies and in adherence to state and federal regulatory law
- Champion employee engagement
- Drive talent programs such as employee development, career development and succession planning
- Managing all aspects of recruitment and on-boarding
- Managing site payroll, compensation, and benefits administration functions
- Determining site training needs and identify appropriate training resources
- Document, communicate, and apply policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatments of all employees
