Job Summary
Transitions at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients in Jefferson County and surrounding areas. The Non-Medical Caregiver will be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and safety monitoring to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will be dependable, compassionate, and willing to assist with a variety of tasks to help clients remain comfortable and safe in their homes.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Change linens and do laundry
- Offer medication reminders and ensure safety monitoring
- Run errands like shopping and transportation to doctor's appointments
- Assist with exercises prescribed by physicians or physical therapists
Requirements
