Job Summary
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist plays a vital role in supporting individuals with various challenges to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall quality of life. Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs and goals of clients.
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions to clients with mental health challenges
- Provide education on medication management to clients, ensuring they understand their treatment options.
- Address gender issues through counseling, creating a safe space for clients to discuss their experiences and challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation services or mental health counseling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques is an asset.
- Understanding of gender issues and experience in counseling diverse populations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in managing caseloads.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
