Transitions Healthcare Washington PA is seeking an Activities Director.
This positions purpose is to, under the direction of the Administrator, be responsible for coordinating and implementing activity and volunteer programs in the facility.
Activities Director Job Highlights:
- Develop, organize, and implement a program of activities to meet the social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs of residents.
- Hires, trains, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry ou the responsibilities of the department.
- Maintains supplies
- Coordinates resident council

Activities Director Minimum Qualifications:
- A qualified therapeutic recreation specialist.
- Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program, within the last 5 years, 1 year of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
