Job Description
The Marketing and Business Development Liaison for Transitions Healthcare is an independent and autonomous position which is responsible for developing census by obtaining referrals from hospitals, rehab facilities, skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Marketing and Business Development Liaison is the initial point of contact for Transitions Healthcare and is the face of the company. They are to build a book of business and maintain relationships with outside agencies for the benefit of the growth of the company. The roles and responsibilities include:
Develop a census through targeted goals and relationships with hospitals, rehab facilities, skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health companies.
Coordinatere ferrals to the office and ensure admission process has been initiated.
Plan, develop, organize, and initiate The Company’s public relations and marketing
programs and activities in their region.
Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with public relations
policies, and establish rapport between office staff, marketing, and medical
providers
Ensure that public information describing the practice isa ccurate and fully
descriptive including policies, manuals, brochures, information packets, etc.
Support and promote the philosophy, goals, and objectives of The Company’s
public relations programs and activities
Represent The Company at and participate in meetings and events
Schedule and participate in developmental meetings concerning marketing and
public relations programs and activities
Develop and maintain current file of book of business and contacts
Training, Education, and Experience
1. Associates/Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5years of experience in marketing and business development and/or 5 years of experience in marketing and business development in the home health care, mobile medical practice, or related fields
Valid Drivers license
Experience in healthcare sales and marketing specific to mobile medical practices,
home health companies, DME companies, and hospitals
Understanding of insurances including Medicare and commercial insurance
Must have the ability to work autonomously, formulate leads, and close
contracts/agreements
6. Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly reviews
