Come work for the best in Western Illinois! Our Parent Educators get to provide valuable home visiting services for parents of children ages Birth to Five. According to our participants, this is one of our most well-loved programs! Parent Educators empower parents to be their child's first teacher using the Parents as Teachers evidenced-based practice model. They provide free educational and developmental tools to support parents, complete assessments, treatment plans, and deliver case management services. Full-time position, mainly daytime and early evening hours of work according to parents' needs along with the employee's preferences, providing a flexible work schedule.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a Human Services field and experience with young children is preferred. Also requires insurable driving record and ability to pass background checks.
