Transitions Recovery is a growing and dynamic inpatient rehabilitation facility that is currently seeking a competent QMA. We are looking for team players who will treat all patients and their fellow employees with dignity and respect. We interface with patients from a variety of cultures who come to us as their preferred provider. We seek an applicant that can; maintain the organization of an inpatient facility and ensure the environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients. Provide compassionate service to patients while calmly managing patient communication. An experienced caregiver who can assist with the light housekeeping duties involved with the inpatient facility, as well as, someone who can assist with meals for our patients. We’re looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file and who understands the value of compassionate service. The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will know when to slow down, look patients in the eye and provide personalized service. There are many advancement opportunities for the successful applicant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· The Qualified Medication Aide administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility

· Minimal housekeeping and laundry duties

· Food warming and serving- buffet style

· Provide patients with support and guidance as needed

· Demonstrates good communication skills/both written & verbal

· Maintains orderly appearance of facility

· Performs all other duties as assigned by Management

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
