We are looking for a talented and motivated recent graduate in Computer Engineering eager to grow into an expert Backend Engineer. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to an exciting project, designing and implementing integration components between external platforms (such as CMSes and Translation Management Systems) and TranslationOS. This role offers a unique chance to develop advanced technical skills while working on innovative solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
We offer: full-time contract day to day presence in our offices is required.
What You’ll Do
You will join the Enterprise Integration Team and will be involved in building integration components between Translated platform and the customer's platforms.
You will have the opportunity to learn how to build connectors that solve the customer's initial need, but that can also be reused for future integrations with other future customers using the same platform.
Responsibilities
- Participate in decision-making processes.
- Participate in building new connectors and maintain the existing ones.
- Practice code review and be code-reviewed.
- Test your code.
- Care deeply about code quality and performance, with a business-savvy approach.
- Write technical and functional documentation with your team.
- Collaborate with other areas (frontend, design, product).
Requirements
- Degree in computer engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- 1 years of development experience with SQL (MySQL).
- Expertise with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Knowledge of Git and the Versioning platform GitHub with the classic Fork/PR workflow.
Nice to have
- Experience in NodeJs and Typescript.
- Experience in developing reliable and secure server-side web applications and building REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL (MySQL).
- Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub versioning platform with classic Fork/PR workflow.
- Good engineering skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Hands-on experience with testing.
- Hands-on experience with Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Redis.
- Knowledge of RabbitMQ.
- Experience with the Koa web framework.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or, in general, with CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services platform (particularly S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS).
- Previous experience in the translation and localization industry.
- Previous experience with Agile development.
