Position Summary
The Lab Technician – In Vitro chief responsibility is to assist staff with the functional operation of the bioanalytical and in vitro Pharmacology laboratory and perform a variety of common and moderately complex tasks to aid in the on-going research. This position reports to the Laboratory Supervisor, In Vitro.

Compensation: From $23.74 to $23.74 per hour
Position Summary
The Lab Technician – In Vitro chief responsibility is to assist staff with the functional operation of the bioanalytical and in vitro Pharmacology laboratory and perform a variety of common and moderately complex tasks to aid in the on-going research. This position reports to the Laboratory Supervisor, In Vitro.
Essential Functions
- Maintains detailed and organized laboratory files and documents.
- Accurately follow appropriately laboratory protocols
- Participates in weekly lab meetings.
- Maintains lab equipment daily and/or weekly as needed.
- Performs general laboratory duties, including calibrating balances, and general lab organization.
- Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned.
- Supports Research Associates with study related tasks.
- Assists Lab Management with supply inventory and ordering.
- Receive and document in-coming samples and compounds.
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry or at least one year of direct laboratory experience.
- Experience in general laboratory techniques.
- Overtime and weekend work required.
- Highly organized.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
