This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Manufacturing Engineering activities associated with the production of TransMedics Organ Care System.
- Learn about TransMedics manufacturing processes, including disposable and capital equipment manufacturing.
- Support engineers in development, maintenance, and process improvements for manufacturing assembly and test processes.
- Creation of documentation including Manufacturing Instructions, Inspection procedures, Test Protocols, Assembly Drawings and Component Drawings.
- Serve as a strong team player, supporting and assisting supervisor and colleagues when necessary and complying with all work safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering preferred
- Process development or manufacturing experience a plus.
- Possesses a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
