Job Description:
Integrated planning refers to the process of establishing clear and ongoing connectivity between demand (commercial) and supply (operations) planning / activity. This alignment is essential to ensuring consistency between the operational plan and the commercial strategy. This role is responsible for connecting diverse supply chain systems in a seamless and repeatable manner, to improve visibility and decision making across all levels.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Mine, manipulate, and analyze data from internal and external sources
- Develop deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and automated dashboards to give visibility into key measures of supply chain performance.
- Partner with Supply Chain or cross functional teams to gather requirements, create reporting, and drive analytic projects that help solve complex supply chain challenges.
- Support the ongoing design of the Supply Chain.
- Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.
KEY RESULTS:
- Increased supply chain visibility through dashboards and reporting
- Combination of disparate reports and systems to support data driven decisions
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familarity with SQL and experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python, C#).
- Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large datasets.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Bi application, evaluating real time, high value weekly metrics.
- Intermediate level Excel skills - knowledge of VBA, Macros, Pivot Charts, and Statistical Modeling a plus
- Self-starter, driver, and out-of-the-box thinker with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates and cross-functional colleagues.
EDUCATION:
- Undergradue or graduate student persuing degree in computer science, engineering, economics, math, business or related field.
