Position Summary

The ESOH Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing oversight and management of assigned company environmental and safety programs, including the administration of the department’s compliance programs.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity and reliability of the department's compliance tracking system, ensuring the application meets the needs, requirements, and objectives of the department and the organization.
  • Collaborate with ESOH staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term compliance objectives; develop and implement plans to modify or replace system-tracked duties in line with current and ongoing ESOH-driven programs.
  • Ensure workflows, approvals, and notifications are operating as designed
  • Develop and lead analytics strategy to proactively provide the necessary data and insights to support business and ensure ongoing environmental and safety compliance goals are being met.
  • Oversee and manage the development, implementing, and tracking of Key Performance indicators for the ESOH department. Ensure ongoing and continued effectiveness of department KPI's; making modifications as required.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and other information delivery services for internal customers.
  • Develop ad hoc and customized reports to meet business needs
  • Perform regular system data audits to ensure system accuracy and organizational compliance.
  • Partner with ESOH and Safety Coordinators to help gather and deliver information to the organization.
  • Support the administrative review and ongoing updates of the organization's required regulatory plans, including but not limited to Facility Response Plans and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans.
  • Provide oversight and tracking of department-assigned Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) workflows to include the preparation of required data and reports as needed.
  • Provide quality control and assurance of documentation related to ESOH sensitive tasks performed by company personnel within designated areas.
  • Participate and support internal and/or external audits, inspections, and field response drills/activities and complete operational site visits as needed to support the success of ESOH-driven programs.

Position Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of Federal and State environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and communicate data clearly and to different audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including purpose built data tools, SQL, GIS, and similar software.
  • Understanding of how to develop charts, tables, pivot tables, and associated work products necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest quality of work product.
  • Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees, regulatory agencies, and customers.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in field/industry is required.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential Card (TWIC).

Travel:

  • Up to 30% travel required. Requires the ability to travel to field locations where the environment may vary significantly.

Pay & Benefits

Hiring Range:

  • $97,372 - $108,000 Annually (DOE)
