Responsible for daily reviews of Company’s failure data reporting, driving the forensic process and the analytical studies, and following up with the development and tracking of corrective actions and its deployment to the fleet. This role requires a proactive approach to analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing corrective action plans to enhance the reliability of our drilling operations.Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Plan and execute data analytics projects in collaboration with Engineering, Technical Services, Operations Assurance, Sustainability, Operations and Equipment Manufacturers through all the phases from conception to implementation in accordance with Company policies, standards and project objectives.
- Review technical events and its root causes to identifies and coordinate the implementation of analytics models based on historical events to be deployed fleet wide.
- Identify opportunities to utilize AI to combine machine data and technical event reports to enhance maintenance strategies collaborating with the maintenance teams.
- Follow up with the fleet on equipment alarms, coaching and training the workforce on the usage of dashboards and analytics to monitor equipment health and operational requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor the integration of data applications to the CMMS to ensure the correct flow of automatic process and its adoption by the fleet.
- Work directly with IT to monitor equipment data uptime and maintain required data set up to date in the asset framework.
- Report out and communicate internally the potential models and ongoing progress on Data Analytics initiatives.
- Coordinate and support both internal and external meetings to ensure alignment on analytics & reliability initiatives and trends focusing on leading and lagging indicators.
Education:
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum Required: Requires specific technical knowledge related to Rig Operations. Minimum of 5 years' experience in rig operations, analytics and basic programming.
- Preferred Level: It is preferred to have further 5 to 10 years’ experience in engineering, field support or operation of various types of offshore units with past experience in coding and analytics.
Skills:
- Minimum Required: Good knowledge of project management techniques including planning, budget control, contract administration and resource management. Familiar with drilling industry technique is required.
- Preferred Level: Strong knowledge of project management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High familiarity with different classes of drilling rigs and operations. Knowledge of drilling equipment and experienced in programing and data analytics. Strong leadership skills and ability to work cross-functional.
Pre-Requisite/ Qualification:
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
